Mercato Metropolitano Fundraising Event

We held a large family art themed fundraising event at the end of May in 2023 in Mercato Metropolitano’s Elephant and Castle Headquarters. Here we had lots of different styles of artwork on sale, fun and interactive activities for children and their families, and a raffle with lots of exciting prizes. This was an outdoor event, where attendees had lots of fun engaging in activities such as instant portraits, eye-spy games with the artwork, an arts and crafts workshop, and simply enjoying the beautiful sunny weather we were blessed with!

Through this event we formed many corporate partnerships with and sponsors from a wide range of businesses and individuals. Some of these can be seen above and are listed below:

Canary Wharf Fundraising Event

Heritage Charity London partnered with businesses based in Tower Hamlets to execute a fundraising event in the new residential building of 10 Park Drive. The event showcased incredible cooperation between corporate partners and the charity.

The event was held to raise awareness for the charity and our mission to make education a birth right for all, raise funds for the charity’s projects, and facilitate new residents of the development to meet each other. Heritage Charity London is a UK registered charity (1194163) that runs after school workshops for disadvantaged children in the UK, specifically London. The guests were entertained by award-winning Team Salut’s DJ booth and talented performers starred the night, such as poets, piano players, and saxophonists. There was also an Instagram booth where a photographer made sure that the attendees took home more than just memories. Our dedicated team organised the event and every detail was considered right down to the variety of dietary requirements for the food table such as halal, vegan, vegetarian and more. The delicious buffet of food and sweet treats were all sponsored by local companies who believe in the charity’s mission and are keen to enable a positive change in their local community. The night was eclipsed with an exciting raffle draw with outstanding prizes; a beautiful 0.25-carat diamond necklace and a £150 gift card for Hawksmoor restaurants. The success of the event is a true testament to local cooperation. This event showcased the partnership of many individuals and companies coming together to help children in need.

Christmas 2022 Project Sponsors

Online Christmas Raffle

During the festive season of 2022, we reached out to lots of businesses and companies based in London, who kindly agreed to sponsor our large online Christmas raffle, through a donation of enticing and exciting prizes for ticket purchasers to win. These ranged from unbeatable spa days, to deliciously crafted meals for two. This really was the raffle of the year! Through this online raffle, we aimed to not only raise funds to support our philanthropic cause, but we also saw this as a first-class way to spread the word about Heritage Charity London and the marvellous work that we do for disadvantaged and marginalised children across London. This was a thrilling time for both us as a charity, as well as all those who supported our efforts through the purchase of raffle tickets.

Whether this be through donating extensive pieces of online learning material for use at our after school clubs or sim card deals to support our staff with the regular communication they incur with current and potential partners. All of these sponsors have been of incredible help towards Heritage Charity London and our mission of providing all children with equal and fair access to education and developmental opportunities.

Spring and Summer 2023 Project Sponsors

Community Walks and Picnics

Heritage Charity London planned and implemented community walks around London during the spring and summer of 2023. These walks were aimed at encouraging walking as both a form of transport and exercise among the local community. We led children and their families through beautiful woodlands, alongside glistening canals, before stopping in a nearby park for a healthy and nutritious picnic. This was a free event for all attendees, fully funded by Heritage Charity London. These projects were immensely enjoyed and popular among our young walkers and families, and we are aiming to continue these into 2024 too.
