Sports programmes for disadvantaged children to reach their potential

Heritage Charity London’s mission is to give children access to education and to ameliorate the effects of deprivation on disengaged and disadvantaged children and young people. It is the one of the most powerful tool we can use to enable a positive change in the world. Education reduces poverty, helps prevent disease, empowers women, and inspires young people to be agents of positive change.

Our charity is dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people through a range of activities including sports, team building activities and games, visual arts, and swimming. Our London Sports Project initiative is a 20-week sports programme to engage children aged 7-14 years.

Playing sport helps children learn to control their emotions and channel negative feelings in a positive way. It also helps children to develop patience and understand that it can take a lot of practice to improve both their physical skills and what they do in school.
